by In this article, we will cover how to integrate google analytics to the eCommerce website that is powered by Agnicart.
We will assume that you already have a google analytics account. If not, you can create one here and log in to your account.
Step 1: Once you login, click on the “Admin” link in the left navigation panel. You will see the following page.
Step 2: Click on create property, select web in the next screen and click continue.
Step 3: Under property Setup -> Property details, enter the details as specified below and click “Create”
a. For Website Name: Enter the name that you wish to recognize the website within the google analytics account.
b. For Website Url: Enter the URL of the website. Make sure you select https if your website is SSL secured. All the websites powered by Agnicart are SSL secured.
c. For Industry Category: Select the appropriate industry category of your website.
d. For Timezone: Pick your timezone.
Step 4: Select the Tracking ID that was created,
Step 5: Login to your Agnicart account and go to store settings(Left side navigation panel) in the dashboard.
Step 6: Enter the Tracking ID in the Google Analytics Id field and click save.
That’s it. Your website is now integrated with google analytics and you can monitor the traffic and user information from your google analytics account from here on. If you have any questions, please write to [email protected]
